About Marzipan Clothing

I’ve always loved beautiful clothes and it’s always flattering when people ask where you got them from. However, I found that more and more that I saw people wearing the same items as me.  So, when I spent 6 months travelling in India and saw all the beautiful local fabrics and colours, which were so different to the high street fashion I was used to back home, I was inspired to set up Marzipan Clothing.

My aim then – and now – is to offer stunning & unique hand crafted clothing and accessories, from across the globe at affordable prices.

I have a range of beautiful one-off silk clothes that are made from Indian vintage silk saris, hand-made leather bags and belts from Morocco, fair-trade Pashminas and the ever-popular Fisherman’s Trousers.

The items are a collection of my own designs and items produced in conjunction with local craftsmen.  All items are hand crafted and traded fairly meaning they benefit those that make them as much as they benefit you. This website tries to show you what Marzipan Clothing is all  about so please browse through the pages and I would love to hear your feedback.

Thanks

Ps. Please have a look at my 2010 shows page if you’d like to come to see me and the designs in the flesh.
